YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan extended his thanks to members of the Lithuanian and French parliaments for establishing friendship groups with the parliament of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, or Artsakh.
“Dear colleagues, as you know a friendship group with the Republic of Artsakh is established in the Lithuanian Seimas [Parliament] while a friendship circle with the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is created in France, and they made a call to put an end to the political isolation of Artsakh.
“On behalf of the National Assembly of Armenia, I would like to once again thank our Lithuanian and French colleagues and all those who are at the sources of these initiatives,” Abrahamyan specifically said at the beginning of Thursday’s NA session.
