U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived on Monday on unannounced visit to Afghanistan’s capital Kabul.

He is expected to hold talks with President Hamid Karzai to discuss cooperation on security issues after the major part of foreign contingent leaves Afghanistan by the end of 2014, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, during his foreign trip, Secretary Kerry visited other regional states, including Saudi Arabaia, Qatar and the UAE. On Sunday Kerry arrived on unannounced visit to the capital of Iraq.
