YEREVAN. – The avenues for developing cooperation with French cities and organizations, and Armenian capital city Yerevan’s water supply issues were discussed during the talk between Yerevan Deputy Mayors Kamo Areyan and Vahe Nikoyan, and Daniel Patat, the Head of the South Caucasus Affairs of the French Economic Service.   

Areyan underscored the cooperation with French organizations and the continuity of joint projects, Yerevan Municipality press service informs. Reflecting on the ongoing activities with respect to Yerevan’s water supply system, the deputy mayor stressed that positive changes are recorded in this domain. At the same time, however, Areyan highlighted the need for respective investments.   

In his turn, Patat noted that they likewise underscore the activities geared toward ensuring the comfort of the residents.   

“We stand ready to assist and work together with the [Yerevan] Municipality. By visiting Yerevan on a regular basis, I want to express my delight over the noticeable development of the city. A substantial work has been done,” Daniel Patat noted.  

The parties also agreed to discuss, in the future, other proposals aimed at Yerevan’s development.
