YEREVAN. – The best way of struggle against migration is economy development and economic growth, Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov said during the Thursday meeting with students.

Asked about biased coverage of the case concerning Armenian driver, Sharmazanov first of all expressed condolences in connection of a car crash that claimed lives of 18 people.

“No one has right to show disrespect towards a citizen of Armenia,” he said, adding that Armenia-Russia relations must not be linked to the case. “Russia is our ally and we must deepen cooperation.”

Commenting on Armenia-EU and Armenia-Eurasian Union relations, Deputy Speaker said Armenian government is holding foreign policy which is in the interests of the state.

“We must deepen relations with EU, Russia and the U.S. Armenia’s foreign policy is based on “and.. and” not “or…or” principle,” he added.
