MOSCOW. – The West is the most to blame for the suffering of the Syrian people.
Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil stated the aforesaid on Monday during his meeting in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“It is difficult to assume how the fate of the [Syrian] people would have been if the friendly countries had not come to help,” ITAR-TASS News Agency of Russia quotes Jamil as saying.
In his words, attempts were made in the past two years to overthrow the current government in Syria.
“But these political and military attempts were unsuccessful,” stressed the Syrian deputy PM.
