YEREVAN. – Seventeen Armenians are injured as a result of the Syrian opposition forces’ attack on two buses that were heading from Aleppo, Syria, to Beirut, Lebanon.
The Armenian MFA press service told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am, citing the Armenian Embassy in Damascus.
According to the embassy, two of the injured Armenians are in critical condition.
To note, the Armenian News-NEWS.am’s information, according to which 40-year-old Armenian woman Tamara Sirounian was killed as a result of the shooting, is confirmed, too.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Syrian opposition forces shot at the two buses on Tuesday at around 3pm. There were numerous Aleppo Armenians in the buses, and the Armenian MFA is verifying the data.
