YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the recipients and graduates of the Luys (Light) Foundation scholarship.
“The [Armenian] state assists you in studying at the world’s top ten universities, so you may serve the best available knowledge and knowhow there for the benefit of the development of our country,” Sargsyan noted in his welcoming remarks.
He also reflected on the trends of and the prospects for Armenia’s development, and stated that knowledge is the most important resource in the modern world.
The PM and the Luys Foundation students discussed the vision for and the challenges before Armenia’s development.
In addition, Tigran Sargsyan saluted the students’ successful initiatives that are carried out in the country, within the framework of the “Let’s Develop Armenia” program of the Luys Foundation.
