YEREVAN. – The activists gathered near the building of Yerevan Municipality are holding a sit-down strike.

Talking to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, protesters said they demand dismissals of Henrik Navasardyan, head of transport department, and Misak Hambartzumyan, director of Yerevan Trans LLC. The demonstrators said they would hold the strike until officials are dismissed.

The members of “We will not pay 150 drams” have been staging protests in Yerevan for several days. Finally, the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan canceled the decision to increase transport fares.
