YEREVAN. – Fifteen percent of the population of Armenia is able to rest outside the country’s borders, stated sociologist Aharon Adibekyan on Friday.    

According to him, 200 to 250 Armenian citizens, who can afford to relax abroad, primarily head to neighboring Georgia. The flow is not too much toward other countries.

“The societal activism of the public grows in September, after the end of the holidays. A vacation should comply with the type of work. A person who is engaged in physical work should choose a passive recreation, and the [person who is] engaged in intellectual work should prefer an active recreation,” Adibekyan noted.
