YEREVAN. – The Armenians are inclined toward post-vacation stress, psychologist Mihrdat Madatyan stated during a press conference on Friday.

As per the specialist, this peculiarity stems from the Armenian national mindset. In addition, this stress is manifested more vividly among men.

“Armenians usually work constantly, until over-exhaustion. And the second problem emerges after resting: the post-vacation stress. As a rule, efficiency and intellectual alertness drop in the initial period after a rest,” Madatyan noted.

He expressed a view that it is better to rest twice a year for 10-14 days, instead of once a year for one month.

“On the other hand, the employers should not overload the employees [immediately] after a vacation,” Mihrdat Madatyan added.
