YEREVAN. – A call was received informing that a person had fallen into the river, on Friday evening, in Kapan city of Armenia’s Syunik Region, and rescuers were needed.  

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, informs the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The firefighter-rescuers brought Kapan resident A. G., 52, out of the river, and the person was transported to the Kapan city medical center.
