YEREVAN. – Sixty Armenian university graduates have received the opportunity for paid internships in twenty-one local companies.
The aforementioned became possible owing to the result of the fourth phase of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Youth Career Trail project, which is co-sponsored by the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA).
Youth Career Trail is a paid internship program that offers university graduates the opportunity to get involved for the first time in a work that corresponds to their education, and to acquire valuable work experience and practical knowledge.
“We, in partnership with AMAA, have tried to assist the unemployed youth’s smooth transition into the labor market,” stated Bradley Busetto, UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia.
