YEREVAN. – Anna Nikoghosyan, Project Manager of the “Society Without Violence” NGO, stated, during a press conference on Tuesday, that the NGO is for the adoption of a separate law in Armenia, and concerning domestic violence.
To note, the adoption of such law had been rejected earlier.
The law proposal contains several preventive measures; specifically, mandatory police intervention in cases of violence within a family.
