YEREVAN. – In line with the prices in the second quarter of 2013 in Armenia, the monthly food basket in the country is 32,090 drams (approx. $77.30), informs the National Statistical Service.

As compared to the first quarter, the food basket cost has risen by about 800 drams (approx. $1.93). 

In addition, the minimum consumer basket in Armenia made up 56,800 drams (approx. $136.82) in the second quarter of this year, as compared to the 55,300 drams (approx. $133.20) in the previous quarter. The increase is 1,500 drams (approx. $3.61), or 2.7 percent.
