YEREVAN. – Armenia is third among CIS countries in terms of industrial growth, as it recorded an 8-percent growth between January and May 2013. 

In line with the Armenian National Statistical Service data, with such indicator, Armenia is behind solely Kyrgyzstan (21%) and Tajikistan (8.2 %).  

Also, the industrial growth made up 0.2 percent in Russia, 1.8 percent in Kazakhstan, and 6.4 percent in Moldova.

In the other CIS countries, however, an industrial decline was recorded, with 3.5 percent in Belarus, 5.2 percent in Ukraine, and 0.2 percent in Azerbaijan.
