YEREVAN. – The employees of Nairit rubber plant of Armenia were paid another one-month salary, but the plant still owes them ten-month wages.  

Nairit Press Secretary Anush Harutyunyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In her words, the plant workers are paid since December 2012. 

She also noted that the plant does not operate, it does not produce and it does not sell products, but its employees are paid in some ways, by the Government.    

“Therefore they are understanding toward a ten-month debt. But if the plant operates and the people have a ten-month debt, they would be much more dissatisfied. The plant does not operate for three years, but the Government is trying to find money, and about 2,700 people are getting paid,” Harutyunyan said.   

To note, the plant workers hold regular protests and demand the amounts they are owed.
