YEREVAN. – At the initiative of the Armenian capital city Yerevan Municipality, bicycle stops will be set up in the city, and a joint working group is formed to bring this objective to fruition.  

During the group’s discussion that was held in the city hall, initial proposals were made on the sites for these bicycle stops, informs the Municipality Information and Public Relations Department.

By and large, these bicycle stops are planned to be set up in the areas adjacent to busy recreation zones and institutions of higher education.     

The working group also discussed the avenues for ensuring the safety of these bicycle stops and creating bicycle routes in Yerevan.    

The investors likewise will get involved in the implementation of this project.
