YEREVAN. – A large fire broke out Tuesday morning in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan

The Armenian News-NEWS.am followers, who had noticed the smoke from afar, informed about this fire. 

A call was received, on Tuesday at 7:37am, informing that there was a smoke nearby Yerevan Thermal Power Plant, informs the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. 

Five firefighting squads were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that the fire had broken out at Doghagorts (tire factory) Company.  

The fire was contained at 8:55am.
