YEREVAN. – The statements made by Azerbaijani side are nothing but blatant lie, spokesperson for Armenian Defense Ministry said.

Artsrun Hovhannisyan’s comments came in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent’s request to comment on accusations voiced by Azerbaijan.

“We have repeatedly stated that the provocations will not remain unpunished. So, let Azerbaijani side think about the consequences of their adventurous steps,” Hovhannisyan said.

As reported earlier, an Armenian officer was wounded as a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani side. Official Baku is trying to present the situation “as Armenian side’s attempt to hold an act of sabotage” and is exaggerating facts.
