YEREVAN. – With a decree by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, the tenure of Yuri Khachaturov, Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces General Staff, is extended.
“Guided by the Constitution of Armenia, [and] based on Armenia’s law on Military service, I hereby decide:
“To extent, from July 30, 2013 to May 1, 2017, the military service of the Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov,” reads the President’s respective decree, informs the Presidential Press Office of Armenia.
