YEREVAN. – A criminal case is launched into a tragic incident that occurred at midnight in Armenia’s Stepanavan city, the Police press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

The criminal case is opened on charges of premeditated murder; this offense is punishable by 8-15 years in prison.   

According to our information, Diana, 31, is arrested. She is Russian and has an eleven-year-old son. The victim, Karen A., 36, had no children and he was single.    

To note, Diana had stabbed Karen, who died prior to the arrival of the ambulance.  

We managed to find out that Diana and Karen were acquaintances, they had argued in front of their building, and, subsequently, Diana had stabbed her boyfriend several times. According to preliminary information, they were under the influence of alcohol.
