STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry dismisses Azerbaijani press reports alleging that a Karabakh soldier tripped a mine in a neutral zone at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces.

Karabakh Defense Ministry called the reports “figment of the mind”.

“This is a regular publicity stunt by Azerbaijan. The reports are untrue,” spokesperson Senor Hasratyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As reported earlier, Armenian rank-and-file soldier Hakob Injighulyan found himself in the territory under the control of the adversary. However, Azerbaijani side as usual basted up its own story, reporting that the soldier allegedly tripped a mine.
