YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia carried out considerable activities to improve the procedure of procurement.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan noted the aforesaid during Thursday’s Cabinet session.

In his words, there is a positive shift in the procurement process in the country.

“But this does not mean that all problems are solved. In October, we will again carry out a review of the procurement process,” the PM noted. 

Sargsyan further informed that, in September and in October, they will conduct a monitoring of the state services.

“NGO representatives are conducting the monitoring,” the Premier added.    

“We gather the GDP evaluations in reference to the departments, and we will sum up the results in a next Cabinet meeting.   

“We will provide all the information to the State Revenue Committee, as well, so we may be able to also reveal the potential for additional tax collection, in line with the domains,” Sargsyan concluded.
