YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will try to give answers to the activists that fight against the rise in the university tuition fees solely when the level of the organization of the protests becomes clear.     

RPA National Assembly Faction Secretary Hovhannes Sahakyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, the issues raised by the public are always discussed and they are resolved for the most part.

In turn Anahit Bakhshyan, head of the opposition “Barev [Hello], Yerevan” faction at the capital city Yerevan Council of Elders, noted that each movement requires the authorities to listen to its participants.

“The authorities need to understand that each matter of public concern can be resolved by way of considering the public view and finding the correct ‘middle ground,’” she said  

Bakhshyan also highly evaluated the role of the youth movement, which is yielding positive results.
