YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to his Kyrgyz counterpart Almazbek Atambayev on the Day of Independence.
The Supreme Soviet voted for independence of Kyrgyzstan from the Soviet Union on 31 August 1991.
This year masks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
