ETCHMIADZIN. – The interaction between the Anglican and Armenian Apostolic Church was discussed during the meeting of Catholicos Karekin II with Geoffrey Rowell, Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe.

Catholicos Karekin II informed the delegation about the activities of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and underscored the role of Armenian Apostolic Church in spiritual life of the Armenian nation.

His Holiness Karekin II stressed importance of strengthening ecumenical dialogue and necessity of enhancing joint efforts for the sake of peace, justice and improvement of well-being. Catholicos of All Armenians extended greetings to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Archbishop Justin Welby.
