Armenia’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Arsen Shoyan met with Bulgarian Economy and Energy Minister Dragomir Stoynev to discuss bilateral relations.

Minister Stoynev underscored necessity of intensifying cooperation in economy and trade so that to improve the trade turnover volume. Speaking about the areas of cooperation, the Minister pointed out defense industry, pharmaceutical industry and agricultural products.

Ambassador Shoyan underscored importance of holding the seventh session of the intergovernmental committee, as well as roundtable discussions with the participations of businessmen from two states.

The sides noted  importance of mutually beneficial cooperation on tourism, taking into account rich cultural heritage of two states. They discussed possibility of resuming regular Yerevan-Sofia direct flights.
