YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in the United States on a working visit, on Wednesday delivered a comprehensive presentation at Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
In his address Nalbandian presented Armenia’s foreign policy, informs the MFA press service.
He spoke about Armenian-American relations, the ongoing efforts by Armenia and the international community toward a pacific settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and Armenia’s outlook on the Syrian crisis and the avenues for its settlement, and on several regional and international matters.
Prior to his presentation, Armenia’s FM met with Harvard University Marshal Jackie O’Neill. They discussed the opportunities for the Armenian students’ further involvement in this prestigious school of higher learning.
Also, Nalbandian presented the Mkhitar Heratsi Medal—which is awarded by the President of Armenia—to Dr. Ernest Barsamian, Professor Emeritus at Harvard University and long-time Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
On the same day, Edward Nalbandian traveled to New York City to participate in the UN General Assembly session.
