YEREVAN. – In Armenia’s Permanent Representation at the UN, Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Edward Nipake Natapei, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of Vanuatu. 

The two FMs signed the joint statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Vanuatu.     

During the ensuing talk, the ministers exchanged views on the steps to be taken toward forming bilateral relations, informs the Armenian MFA press service.   

Also in New York City, and during Edward Nalbandian’s talk with Enver Hoxhaj, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Hoxhaj briefed Nalbandian on the process of reconciliation with Serbia, which is carried out under the auspices of the European Union.   

In turn Nalbandian noted that even though Armenia has not recognized Kosovo, such meetings are useful in terms of exchanging views. 

Enver Hoxhaj also expressed gratitude for the Armenian peacekeepers’ service in Kosovo.
