YEREVAN. – The sale of Armenia’s remaining 20 percent in ArmRusGazprom’s shares to Russia’s Gazprom is a negative phenomenon.

Opposition Heritage Party National Assembly (NA) Faction member Tevan Poghosyan noted the above-said Tuesday at a briefing with reporters at the NA.   

In Poghosyan’s view, Armenia must be able to become the first to have its say during any decision-making.

“Not having this, we [i.e., Armenia] turn into a property with a voiceless mechanism in that region, and we will not able to speak because they will say that they are the proprietors and they have the right to do everything,” the opposition MP said.       

Tevan Poghosyan also noted that the Armenian authorities are selling everything that is possible to sell.
