YEREVAN. – In January-November 2013 electricity and gas were the main factors of inflation in Armenia, representative of statistical service said.

Gurgen Martirosyan noted that because of gas and electricity, the prices for services increased by 9.9 percent and for consumer goods by 1.8 percent.

He said inflation for food and non-food products has been recorded. In general, inflation of foodstuffs reached 1.8 percent. Over the last month, prices for bread reduced, while sugar, fruit and prices for other goods increased.

As compared with January-November 2012 the inflation made 4.5% in Armenia.
