YEREVAN. – A division on the monitoring of anticorruption programs will be set up within the Staff of the Government of Armenia.
The respective decision was made at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
The need to open this division also stems from the 2009-2012 anticorruption strategies of Armenia.
The division will organize the activities of the Governmental Anticorruption Council, and prepare reports on the implementation of Armenia’s international commitments toward combating against corruption in Armenia and to uproot it from the country.
