Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said his country continues to help the parties to Karabakh conflict to bring their positions closer.  

“Together with other OSCE Minsk Group - France and the United States - we continue to support bringing closer the parties’ positions on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principles that have been proposed by the presidents of the three states,” Lavrov said, addressing the OSCE Ministerial Council in Kyiv.

He also added that the Geneva discussions remain an important stabilizing factor for security and stability in Transcaucasia.
