YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.51/$1 at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia on Tuesday. 

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 1.29 drop from Monday. 

The exchange rate for one Euro was AMD 557.45 (down by AMD 0.56), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.40 (down by AMD 0.01), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 666.29 (up by AMD 0.15), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 254.23, AMD 16,127.32 and AMD 17,900.42, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled $4,030,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 404.04/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 404/$1.
