YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Economy will coordinate international aviation treaties. The government made a relevant decision at the Thursday session.

The Ministry will be authorized to make amendments to the current treaties on air communication with other states and will hold talks to conclude new treaties, Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan said.

During this work the Ministry will attract General Department of Civil Aviation at the Armenian government.

On October 23 the government introduced the open skies policy without giving preferences to certain air carriers.
