YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 404.97/$1 at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia on Tuesday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 557.64 (up by AMD 0.16), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.32 (remained the same), and the rate of one British pound was 660.10 (down by AMD 0.68), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver and platinum amounted to AMD 16,076.55, AMD 253.89 and AMD 17,642.22, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled $2.2 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 405.25/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 405.25/$1.
