“That was the New Year ‘gift’ that awaited Ukraine,” Azarov said, reports RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
Russia and Ukraine signed several bilateral agreements on Tuesday. Specifically, the two parties agreed on Russia allocating $15 billion to Ukraine, and reducing the price of the Russian natural gas being supplied to Ukraine.
