YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.54/$1 at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia on Friday. 

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.19 rise from Thursday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 553.32 (down by AMD 1.16), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.28 (down by AMD 0.04), and the rate of one British pound was 662.69 (down by AMD 1.19), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 15,593.94, AMD 252.16, and AMD 17,223.74, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled $3,130,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 406/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 406/$1.
