YEREVAN. – The Armenian state agencies are obligated to post on their websites the announcements about the processed bills and public hearings.     

Transport and Communication Minister Gagik Beglaryan stated the aforementioned at Thursday’s Cabinet session. 

At the meeting, Beglaryan introduced the layout of the minimum requirements from the websites of Armenia’s state-run departments.    

These requirements will be mandatory for the national agencies, whereas advisable for local governments.   

The websites must include information on the history and makeup of the given department, and its involvement in national projects.  

In addition, the Armenian state agencies will have to publicize their drafts of laws plus other bills and their justification.
