Regional cooperation has to be developed for the Caucasus to become a center of energy and trade, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated at a new conference held jointly with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze.

According to him, the energy supply lines – the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas main and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway — created by Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan are projects that contribute to regional stability and cooperation. The sides will continue working at the projects. The Azeri and Turkish Ministers of Energy met on April 26, and the sides are determined to make the region an energy, trade and economic center, said Davutoglu as quoted by Voice of Turkey.
