YEREVAN. – The regular repairs at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) will be completed by no later than November 11.

The Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia, Ara Simonyan, stated the abovementioned at the National Assembly on Tuesday. He recalled that the plant is under repairs since March 27.

“We can’t deny that the NPP has several technical problems which don’t present a work hazard, but demand solutions.

“This year the plant will be reconnected [to the country’s power grid] on November 11; [and] if successful, [even] a day or two earlier,” Simonyan stated.
