YEREVAN. – Armenia-Georgia relations are at such a high level that all the risks can be neutralized by way of mutual agreements, Georgian Studies specialist Alik Eroyants stated at a press conference on Saturday.

In his view, if we compare former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s policy with that of the country’s present-day authorities, we will see that the risks, which could have had some negative impact on Armenian-Georgian relations, seem to have been eliminated within the framework of the balanced policy of the current Georgian halls of power. 

“These risks have been neutralized,” Eroyants noted.

The analyst added that the Armenian leadership is ready to develop relations with Georgia even in the case of Armenia’s Eurasian Economic Union  accession and Georgia’s European Union association.

“Of course, time will tell to what extent [these risks will be neutralized],” Alik Eroyants maintained.
