YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday received a Russian delegation led by Veronika Skvortsova, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
The delegation had arrived in capital city Yerevan to participate in the First Armenian-Russian Health Conference.
The President underscored this conference, and expressed the hope that it will enrich the Armenian-Russian allied partnership and contribute to the further strengthening of strategic relations between the two countries.
Sargsyan also stressed that health issues relate to every human being, and therefore it is extremely important to combine the efforts of all countries to solve these issues.
The Russian minister of health, for her part, agreed that it will be impossible to surmount the numerous healthcare challenges in the world without combining the respective efforts.
Skvortsova added that all the participants in the aforesaid conference had prepared themselves to this event very thoroughly, and this yielded its clear results.
