YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) plans to remain in power until the matter of the international recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) is resolved.

National Assembly (NA) Speaker Galust Sahakyan, who is also RPA Vice-Chairman, on Wednesday told the aforementioned to reporters at the NA.

“We’ll stay in power as long as the NKR’s international recognition issue is not resolved,” Sahakyan stressed.

And to the remark that, perhaps, this is the reason why the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement is delayed, the Armenian parliament leader responded that the conflict is not resolved solely because of the deconstructive position of Azerbaijan.
