STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire, on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, around 800 times, from November 9 to 15.

During this time, more than 7,000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported.

Aside from the abovementioned ceasefire violations, Azerbaijan also shot down an NKR Air Force helicopter on Wednesday. The chopper was shot at during a training flight in the airspace of the eastern sector of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani border.

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, confidently carry out their military watch and keep the operational and tactical situation under control, the NKR MOD press service informed.
