YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition People’s Party will join the three non-government parliamentary forces (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage Parties).

People’s Party Chairman Tigran Karapetyan announced the aforementioned at a press conference on Monday.

In his words, he is joining the parliamentary trio to “increase faith.”

“This is a nationwide movement; all [political] parties will join us. Had they [, the parliamentary trio,] been a project of the authorities, they would not have responded to the hand I had extended,” the politician said.

Karapetyan added that he will be on the stage at the parliamentary trio’s next rally, but he has not yet spoken about this with the leaders of the trio.
