YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia respects political partners and the issues raised by them, spokesperson for the party said in response to the statement by Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian.

“We reiterate our view: any political force has the right to conduct any political or public event ,” Tigran Urikhanyan said after Hovannisian announced his party's separate rally.

Prosperous Armenia representative said the party is aware of the public discontent and its main goal is “to make radical changes and improve living standards of the people”.

“Offices of the nation-wide movement that are opening across the country have a goal to strengthen resources, mobilize people and attract new social and public layers to the struggle,” the statement reads.

During the Friday media conference, Hovannisian said “We must have courage to admit that there are undefined questions within the circles of the trio of the parliamentary forces [i.e., the three non-government National Assembly factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage)].
