President Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday toured the “Armenia Wine” Factory, which is located in the Aragatsotn Region of Armenia.
The President was informed that, from 2008 to 2011, the company had made investments in Armenian drams equivalent to approximately 9.5 million euros for wine, brandy, and vodka production. Between 2012 and 2014, the company continued to make large-scale investments for wine and brandy production and, also, for the production of champagne.
In addition, Sargsyan attended the first bottling ceremony of the “Armenia” champagne. Its brandy bottling, on the other hand, is scheduled to begin at the end of next year.
The President stressed that the company’s success is important also in terms of promoting the competitive Armenian brand throughout the world.
