YEREVAN. – Member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun party Artsvik Minasyan said no one is responsible for fair elections in Armenia.

During the debates on transition to 100% proportional system, he said no one can deny the obvious violations that are made during the single-seat elections.

“We should not hide head in the sand and pretend that everything is good about elections,” Minasyan said, addressing the members of the Republican Party of Armenia.

Electoral reform can not pass by itself, and it should complement development of the institutions of political parties and institutional capacity of the Central Electoral Commission.
