YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 475.30/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is down by AMD 1.02 from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 501.06 (down by AMD 4.60), that of one British pound was AMD 693.46 (down by AMD 4.68), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.06 (down by AMD 0.37), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 252.9, AMD 18,449.82 and AMD 17,894.34, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 2.6 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 474.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 474.5/$1.
